Kirrin Castle & Vintage Train Trip
A magical, story-filled, 2-night Dorset camping trip inspired by Enid Blyton’s "Five on a Treasure Island."
Step into the pages of "Five on a Treasure Island" on this story-rich two-night escape, through Enid Blyton’s beloved Jurassic Coast.
We camp in Wareham, so you can be guided by adventure through nature and imagination.
Day 1: We board a steam train to a charming Victorian station filled with retro details, think vintage suitcases and posters, fun photo moments inspired by the Famous Five. Dinner follows at a local spot, inspired by Enid herself.
Day 2: After breakfast, we set off to explore the legendary Kirrin (Corfe) Castle, we wander through historic village scenery, taking part in it's unique attractions, before we settle down for dinner, reflecting on her stories.
As evening draws in, we'll chase the sunset back to camp!
Day 3: After breakfast, we craft our own 'storyboard' inspired by our own adventure, before packing up, feeling creatively full.
Note: All key expenses included.
Full payment is required one week before our adventure begins. For now you're simply booking to secure your space.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Accessibility: Suitable for guests walking 10,000+ daily steps and able for camp setup. Not recommended mobility equipment, however walking sticks are welcome with support.
Pushchairs must be folded and carried / Baby body harness are advised to keep you steady and handsfree. This trip requires going up and down stairs in the ruins of a castle. If you're unsure whether this is right for you, please get in touch.
Not recommended for anyone that has a fear of heights.
Safety / Insurance: This is a fully guided UK trip. No travel insurance required for British citizens, though personal activity insurance is encouraged.
