Storytelling Adventures for Curious, Creative Hearts
Service Description
For Children (Ages 5–10): Let your child step into a world where fairy tales come to life and imagination leads the way. In this joyful, sensory-rich session, children are invited to arrive in fancy dress and settle onto soft “flower pads” as we journey through story, creativity, and connection. Highlights include: ▪️ ✨ Guided storytelling using traditional and original tales ▪️ ✨ Creative storyboard-making to illustrate and take home their own tales ▪️ ✨ Crafting magical wands or swords to bring their characters to life ▪️ ✨ “Step in Time” movement play to release energy through joyful motion ▪️ ✨ A twilight wind-down with calming fairy tales read by lantern light, including stories contributed by our adult storytellers This session is crafted to ignite imagination, build confidence, and offer space for meaningful creative expression. It’s playful, heartfelt, and filled with moments of wonder. While this session is designed for 5–10 year olds, teens aged 11–17 are welcome to join with parental consent if they prefer a more youthful and playful setting. Alternatively, they are also invited to take part in the adult storytelling session for a deeper, more reflective experience. Refreshments provided. Please note: These sessions are especially popular during holidays and half-terms, so advance booking is recommended. ____________________ Benefits: Storytelling is more than just make-believe—it helps children understand emotions, solve problems, and express themselves creatively. Through role play, art, and guided tales, children learn to connect, dream, and thrive in a safe and magical environment. These sessions are also close to my heart. As someone who grew up writing poems and decorating stories with sequins and fabric, I chose to train in this area during my Holistic Health Practitioner course as a way to offer joy across generations.
